Carolina Flight Basketball, Inc. was founded in 2002 as a not for profit company designed to act as the administrative arm for various teams playing as the Carolina Flight. In it first season, the Carolina Flight was a single 9 and under team that won the North Carolina AAU State Championship and went on to place 5th Nationally at the AAU Nationals in Memphis, Tennessee. Since then, the Carolina Flight has won 17 state championships in AAU, YBOA and USSSA with 6 of them being AAU state championships. In addition, in 2004 the Carolina Flight won the 11 and under YBOA National Championship and has placed nationally 4 of the past 7 years at AAU. A remarkable and unbelievable success story.

 

The Carolina Flight was founded for the purpose of providing sound basketball fundamentals and skills to each and every player. The goal of the Carolina Flight is to build championship caliber teams and players on and off the basketball court by helping players develop character, sportsmanship, a hard work ethic and a winning attitude that they can carry forward in school and the rest of their lives. So far, this formula has proved to be successful.
